Key Responsibilities:
Lead New Product Development (NPD) Projects:
- Provide leadership and direction in the design, development, and implementation of new products by initiating research to identify and address consumer needs.
- Develop innovative products aligned with market demands and consumer insights.
- Conduct research on consumer acceptance and product performance to ensure market readiness.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement packaging improvements.
- Identify potential co-packing opportunities to enhance production efficiency and flexibility.
- Develop and execute introductory marketing programs to support new product launches.
- Lead regular status meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution of NPD initiatives.
- Present project updates and key milestones to the leadership team on a periodic basis.
Market and Feasibility Analysis:
- Conduct primary market surveys, collect and analyse data to identify potential market opportunities and trends.
- Support the Project Manager in conducting preliminary feasibility studies for new product concepts.
Clinical and Regulatory Development:
- Design clinical study protocols and oversee study execution to ensure objectives are achieved effectively and in compliance with relevant standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs (RA), Medical Affairs (MA), Research & Development (R&D), Production, Quality Management (QM), and Nutrition Marketing to ensure smooth product development and timely market introduction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science; Master’s degree is preferable.
- Experience in clinical research, market survey, business development, sales & marketing, or product development will be an advantage.
- Strong ability to manage complex projects, handle multiple tasks, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and effectively prioritize business needs.
- Passionate about learning and reading clinical papers; fluent in English (TOEIC score above 650 preferred).
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, can-do attitude and strong service-minded approach.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
